Girls outshine boys in MBBS admission test result

Female students outperformed the male candidates in the published results of the MBBS admission test for the academic session of 2023-24 of public and private medical colleges, making up 59.02 percent.
In the MBBS admission test results published today, Tanzim Muntaka Shorba, the student who has achieved the highest score this year, got 92.5 marks out of 100.
Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen announced the result at a press briefing at the Directorate General for Health Services (DGHS) in the city’s Mohakhali today, Sunday (February 11).
The pass rate in the MBBS tests was 47.83 percent, according to the results published today.
A total of 1,02,369 students sat for the exams. Of them, 49,923 secured pass marks.
Of the successful students, 20,457 are boys and 29,466 are girls.
