EC finalises times for polls of 344 upazilas 

The Election Commission (EC) has finalized election schedule of 344 upazilas.

The election management wing of the EC informed this on Wednesday (February 14).

The commission has decided to conduct the upazila elections across the country in four phases, scheduled for May 4th, May 11th, May 18th, and May 25th.

According to the list of the EC for the regions of Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Dhaka, and Mymensingh, the elections will be conducted in 108 upazilas in the first phase, 121 upazilas in the second phase, 77 upazilas in the third phase and 38 upazilas in the fourth phase.
