Fire breaks out at Baganbari slum in Mirpur

A fire broke out at Baganbari slum in Mirpur-14 of Dhaka early hours of Thursday (February 15).

The fire erupted at the slum around 12:30am. Later, five fire fighting units brought the blaze under control at 1:20am.

Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at fire service headquarters confirmed the matter.

It was not known immediately if the fire caused any casualties or damages.
