Eminent journalist Layekuzzaman no more

Eminent journalist and a special correspondent for Daily Rupali Bangladesh Layekuzzaman passed away on Saturday (February 17).
He was 55.
He breathed his last around 6:15 pm while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in the capital.
SJR Sumon, senior reporter of Rupali Bangladesh, said that Layekuzzaman complained of chest pain while on duty in the office in the afternoon. Meanwhile, he was taken to hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Layekuzzaman born in 1964 in Nagarkanda of Faridpur.
