Mirza Abbas freed 

BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas has been released from the jail after three months and 20 days.

He came out from Keraniganj Central Jail at around 6:55pm on Monday.

Earlier, a Dhaka court granted bail to the BNP leader in a case filed with Dhaka Railway police station for allegedly destroying state assets. 

Dhaka Judicial Magistrate Julhash Uddin passed the order after hearing in the case. 

On Sunday, Mirza Abbas also secured bail in a case of vandalism at Ramna Model police station. 

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Mirza Abbas from Shahidbagh in Dhaka in a case of sabotage on the night of October 31 last year.
