BNP leader Dudu secures bail in 3 more cases

A Dhaka court has granted bail to BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu in three more separate cases filed with Paltan police station in the capital.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sultan Sohag Uddin passed the order after the hearing in the case on Tuesday (February 20) noon.
Dudu’s lawyer Masud Ahmed Talukder confirmed the information.
On February 18, the same court granted bail to Dudu in five more cases.
Earlier at around 12am on November 5, a group of 15-20 people identifying as detective police picked up Dudu from his elder sister’s Cantonment house. The next day, the court placed him on three-day remand in the case of attack on the chief justice’s residence, attack on police and killing of policemen. After the remand, he was sent to prison on November 9. Since then, he had been in prison.
