Foolproof security for smooth observance of Feb 21: RAB

RAB members will provide foolproof security on the occasion of the Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day.

Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) M Khurshid Hossain said this while talking to journalists after visiting the central Shaheed Minar on Tuesday.

“We have strengthened the security measures centering the Shaheed Minar for the smooth celebration of the Language Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day,” he said.

He confirmed the implementation of robust security protocols and security enhancements including installation of seven CCTV cameras covering comprehensive 360-degree surveillances.

Sufficient numbers of RAB forces have been deployed across the country including Dhaka to prevent all kinds of chaos and any unwanted situation, the RAB chief said.
