Forex reserves exceed $20 billion

The Bangladesh Bank’s foreign currency reserves have once again surpassed $20 billion within the span of two weeks, according to central bank figures.

Based on the balance of payments and investment position manual (BPM6) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the reserves currently stand at two thousand 19 crore 61 lakh and 90 thousand US dollars or $20.19 billion.

Meanwhile, gross foreign reserves stand at 2 thousand 532 crore 71 lakh and 40 thousand US dollars.

The information was revealed in the latest report from the Bangladesh Bank.
