Police Week 2024 begins

The six-day Police week-2024 is going to begin on Tuesday (February 27).

The theme of this year’s Police Week is ‘Smart police, smart country, Bangladesh is of peace and progress’.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate Police Week as the chief guest at Rajarbagh Police Lines at 10.30am.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will take salute in a parade, and deliver a speech. She will visit the pavilion of Bangladesh Police Women Welfare Association.

Thirty-four police personnel will receive Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) and 60 others will receive President Police Medal (PPM) for their courageous service from December 1, 2022 to January 10, 2024.
