Some areas in Dhaka to suffer gas outage today

Gas supply will remain suspended for three hours in some areas of the capital Dhaka today, Tuesday (February 27) due to emergency relocation work of gas pipeline.

This was confirmed in a press release issued from Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd on Monday (February 26).

Gas supply in some areas of Dhaka involving Moghbazar, Nayatola, Madhubagh, Tejgaon, Hatirjheel, Mirerbagh, Gabtala, Greenway, Payarabagh, Eskaton (areas close to Dilu Road) will remain suspended due to emergency repair work of gas pipeline, according to the press release.

Residents of these areas will not get gas for three hours starting from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, the press release said.

Titas authorities apologized to the residents of those areas for this temporary inconvenience.
