PM mourns Bailey Road fire victims

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the loss of lives due to devastating fire that broke at multi-story building on Dhaka’s Bailey Road.

The Prime Minister’s office issued a notification in this regard on Friday (March 1).

In a message, she said she prayed for the departed souls and offered condolences to their bereaved family members.

She gave instructions to the authorities concerned to provide treatment to the injured.

It is mentionable that at least 44 people died in a fire that broke out in a commercial building in the capital’s Baily Road area on Thursday night (29 February).
