Baily Road fire: Three detained

Dhaka Metropolitan Police has detained three persons in connection with the fire at a building on Bailey Road in the capital.

The detainees are Anwarul Haque and Shafiqur Rahman, two employees of Chumuk Restaurant, and Joinudin Jisan, manager of Kacchi Bhai Restaurant.

Additional Commissioner of Police Dr Kh Mahid Uddin disclosed this at a press briefing in the capital on Friday evening.

They are being interrogated. Those who are responsible, including the building owners, will be brought to book, he said.
