`Soybean oil will be sold at Tk 163 per liter from Sunday`

State Minister for Commerce Ahasanul Islam has said that bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 163 per liter at the retail level from Sunday (March 3).

The state minister said this while talking to journalists after a program of Association of Grassroots Women Entrepreneurs Bangladesh at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Saturday (March 2).  

The decision was taken at a meeting of the task force on monitoring the market situation and commodity prices at the commerce ministry on 20 February, with State Minister for Commerce Ahasanul Islam in the chair.  

Bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 163 per liter at the retail level. And, each liter of loose soybean oil will be sold at Tk 149. Besides, the price of 5 liters of bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 800.
