No gas in parts of Dhaka for 16 hrs on Monday

The gas supply will be halted for 16 hours in a few areas of Dhaka on Monday (March 4) due to emergency gas pipeline replacement work.

There will be an emergency pipeline replacement work in the area from 8am to 12pm due to which gas supply will be halted in the areas and there may be low gas pressure in the surrounding areas, reads a statement of the Titas Gas authority.

The areas under this supply suspension are Godnail, Enayetpur, Boubazar, Lakibazar, Haziganj, Wabdapul, Kaiumpur, Fatullah, Sastapur, Jailkhana Road, Hajiganj to Shibumarket, Panchabati, Maizdair, Izdair, Chasara, Khanpur, Killarpul, Talla, Kutubail, Dharmaganj, Takkarmath, Pagla, Chitashal, Delpara, Jalkuri, Nawamati, Dapa, Idraqpur, Bhuigar, Kutubpur union, Dhaka Match, Senpur, Moktarpur, Narayanganj BISIC, Kashipur union, Dharmaganj, Shasangaon, Siddirganj, Adamji, Sahebpara, Mizmizi, Siddhirganj, Fatullah, Munshiganj and adjacent areas of Narayanganj.

Titas authorities apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused to the residents of these neighbourhoods.
