Mirza Fakhrul flies to Singapore for treatment

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has gone to Singapore for medical treatment.

Fakhrul, along with his wife, left Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport via a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight around 8:00 am on Monday (March 4).

On October 9, he got release from the jail after a three- and half-month imprisonment. His physical complications increased as he was in prison for a long time, his family sources said.

Earlier on August 24, 2023, the 77-year-old BNP secretary general went to Singapore for a medical checkup.
