DNCC conducts drive at Gulshan restaurants

Mobile courts of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Tuesday conducted a drive at several restaurants in Gulshan-2 area in the capital.

Julkar Nayan, executive magistrate of DNCC-3 led the drive around 11:15am. Mahmudul Hasan, executive magistrate of DNCC joined the drive.

DNCC sources said that DNCC is conducting the drive to see if there is fire safety system in the restaurants.

Earlier, at least 46 people were killed in a fire that broke out at the seven-storey Green Cozy Cottage Shopping Mall on Bailey Road in Dhaka.
