PM hands over best Joyeeta Award to 5 women

Five women have received Best Joyeeta Award as recognition for attaining their success in different fields after overcoming the difficulties and challenges.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the award at a function in the city’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Friday morning (March 8).

The best awardees are- Anar Koli from Mymensingh, Kalyani Minji from Rajshahi, Komoli Robi Dash from Moulvibazar, Jahanara Begum from Barguna and Pakhi Dutta Hijra from Khulna.

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Simin Hossain Rimi presided over the program where Nazma Mobarek Secretary, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA), and others attended.
