One more Covid-19 death, 49 new cases reported 

Bangladesh reported one more COVID-19 death and 49 new cases in 24 hours till Friday (8 March) morning.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS),  Covid-19 cases rose to 2,048,847.

With the new numbers, the country's total deaths rose to 29,492.

The daily case test positivity rate stood at 6.46 percent as 758 samples were tested, said the DGHS.
