Scuffle at SC bar: 3 assistant attorney-generals sacked

The government has sacked three attorney generals in connection with a scuffle over vote counting in the Supreme Court Bar Association polls.
Following to the order of the President, a notification was issued dismissing them from the Solicitor Department of the Ministry of Law on Monday (March 11).
The sacked officials are – Assistant Attorney General Kazi Bashir Ahmed, Zakir Hossain Masud and Shama Akter.
Earlier a clash took place among the lawyers during counting ballots of Supreme Court Bar Association election.
Later, on Friday night (March 8), assistant attorney general Saifur Rahman Chowdhury filed the attempt to murder case against twenty lawyers.
