Petition filed against HC order on school closure

The lawyers for the state have filed a petition against the High Court order that said primary and secondary schools would remain closed during the month of Ramadan.

The hearing in the appeal would be held at the chamber judge of the Appellate Division on Monday (March 11), Assistant Attorney General Sheikh Md Saiful Alam said.

Earlier on Sunday (March 10), the High Court ordered the closure of primary and secondary schools during Ramadan.
