Fire at shoe factory in Chawkbazar

A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Chawkbazar area of the Old Dhaka on Monday (March 11) afternoon.

The fire originated at the factory in Chawkbazar’s Kamalbagh around 1:00 pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters Duty Officer Rafi Al Farooq.

On information, nine firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 1:45 pm.

However, no casualties were reported in this connection.
