Woman dies in Dhaka road crash

A 45-year-old woman was killed when a passenger bus rammed her in Shahbagh area in the capital on Tuesday (March 12).

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police said the accident took place in front of Aziz super market around 8:00am. Later, she was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University where she died under treatment.

Shahbagh police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Selim confirmed the matter.

The body is being sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the cop added.
