35 new Covid-19 cases reported in 24 hours

35 Coronavirus or Covid-19 cases were reported anew across the country in the last 24 hours as of Wednesday morning, taking the country’s total number of coronavirus cases to 20,49,032.

However, the country’s total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,492 as no Covid-19 deaths were reported during the period.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) issued a press release on Wednesday (March 13), confirming the information.

A total of 632 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 5.38 per cent, the release said.

Besides, the total number of recoveries were 20,16,045 with 48 new recoveries, it said.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
