President returns home after health checkup

President Mohammed Shahabuddin returned home on Thursday (March 14) morning after his medical checkup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom (UK).

An aircraft (flight EK-582) of Emirates Airlines, carrying the President along with his wife Dr Rebecca Sultana, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal (R.) International Airport (HISA) at 7:55am.

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, dean of the diplomatic corps, cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services, inspector general of police (IGP), and senior civil and military officials concerned received the President at the airport.

Earlier on March 3, the President left Dhaka for a health checkup.
