ICT chief prosecutor Tipu no more

International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) public prosecutor Advocate Golam Arif Tipu passed away at city hospital today.
He was 93.
He breathed his last around 8:00am on Friday (March 15) while undergoing treatment in the capital’s Lab Aid Hospital.
International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) acting prosecutor Syed Haider Ali confirmed the matter.
ICT (admin) Mokhlesur Rahman Badal told reporters that Advocate Golam Arif Tipu died due to old age complications. No decision has been made yet regarding his funeral and burial.
Advocate Golam Arif Tipu born in Kamalakantapur village of Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on August 28, 1931. His father Aftab Uddin Ahmed was a district registrar.
