HC orders Salam Murshedy to vacate Gulshan residence

The High Court (HC) has ordered Abdus Salam Murshedy, incumbent MP from Khulna-4 also vice-president of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), to vacate his occupied the Gulshan residence within the next three months.
A bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Kazi Ebadoth passed the order on Tuesday (March 19).
In the order, the High Court asked ruling him to hand over the residence to the housing and public works ministry after getting the copy of the verdict.
The investigation report of ACC and other agencies has proved that the house where Salam Murshedi lives in Gulshan is an abandoned property of the government.
Barrister Anik R Haque stood for the writ petitioner while senior lawyer Probir Neogi and Advocate Sayed Ahmed Raza moved for Salam Murshedi during the hearing.
