Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol gets bail

The High Court has granted bail to Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol, the secretary candidate of the pro-BNP Blue Panel, in a case filed over violence during the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) election.
The HC bench of Justice Md Rezaul Haque and Justice Md Khairul Alam passed the bail order on Wednesday (March 20).
Earlier on March 14, the court sent Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol to jail after a four-day remand in the case.
On March 10, the court placed Barrister Kajol on a four-day remand in the case.
On March 8, assistant attorney general Md Saifur Rahman Siddiqui Saif filed an attempt to murder case at the Shahbagh Police Station against 20 people, including Independent secretary candidate Nahid Sultana Juthi and Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol.
Besides, 30-40 more unnamed people were made accused in the case.
