Gas cylinder fire at hotel, four burnt

At least four people were burnt in a gas cylinder fire at a hotel in the capital’s Malibagh area on Wednesday (March 20) evening.

The fire originated due to gas cylinder leakage at Hotel Shajalal.  

Among them, three have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital and one to Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute.

The injured are Sabuj, 24, Md Maruf, 16, Md Julhas, 18, and Abdul Hannan, 40. All are employees of the hotel.
