Fire at warehouse in Demra: Building marked risky

Fire service department has marked the warehouse in Demra as a risky building after a devastating fire engulfed the building.
A fire broken out at a clothing warehouse in the Bhanga Press area of Dhaka’s Demra, near the Jatiya Press Club around 11:30am on Thursday (March 21).
At least 10 fire units rushed to the spot and started to douse the blaze. Meanwhile, rescuers from Bangladesh Navy also joined the firefighting units.
Talha Bin Jasim, media officer of fire service and civil defense’s headquarters said the fire originated at the level-three of the four storied building. Later, the inferno spread other floors of the warehouse. Firefighting units from Fire Stations in Demra, Postagola and Siddiquebazar were dispatched to the location when the blaze was reported.
However, the reason behind the fire could not be known yet.
