BNP reveals bankruptcy in politics thru opposing India: Nanak

Textiles and Jute Minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak has said BNP has revealed its bankruptcy in politics through opposing India.

The minister said this at a discussion organized by Bangladesh Chhatra League marking the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday.

General Secretary of BCL Sheikh Wali Asif Inan, DU unit of Chhatra League Mazarul Kabir Shayan and its General Secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat, among others, were present at the discussion with Bangladesh Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain in the chair.

Former Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University and Professor of Marketing Department of DU Mizanur Rahman also was present at the discussion.

Nanak said the anti-liberation forces established killed Bangabandhu with most of his family members and they created a reign of terror to make Bangladesh a failed state.

The minister said under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh stands head high at the global stage but BNP is plotting to halt the ongoing development of the country.
