Eid holidaymakers suffer due to delay in train departure

On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, the special train journey has started from Wednesday. On Saturday (April 6), the fourth day of Eid journey, the pressure of home-bound people has increased at Kamalapur railway station. However, the Dhumketu Express train was delayed by around two hours this morning, causing suffering to its passengers.

It was learnt that the Dhumketu Express train was scheduled to depart the platform at 6 am, but it started for Rajshahi at 7:50 am, late by an hour and 50 minutes.

However, Sonar Bangla Express, Egarosindhur Provati, Tista Express and Sundarban Express departed on time.
