Brazilian foreign minister reaches Dhaka

Brazilian foreign minister Mauro Vieira has reached Dhaka on a two-day long official visit.

He arrived at Dhaka around 10:00am on Sunday (April 7). Foreign Minister Masud Bin Momen welcomed him at the airport.

The Brazilian foreign minister is visiting Dhaka for the first time, marking a milestone in bilateral relations between the countries.

Mauro Vieira will pay tribute to the 32 Bangabandhu portraits of Dhanmondi at the beginning of the tour. He will hold a bilateral meeting with the commerce minister in the afternoon and with the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the afternoon. After that, both the ministers will attend the press conference.
