Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s daughter found dead in city hotel

Eminent film director Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s daughter Samia Rahman Sristy has been found dead at a Dhaka hotel.

The body was recovered from room number- 210 of the hotel, adjacent to Cambrian School in Jatrabari on Sunday night (April 7).

Sabbir Hossain, Sub-Inspector (SI) at Jatrabari police station, confirmed the matter.

Police say they found the 34-year-old hanging from the window in room 201 of the ‘Rongdhonu Hotel’. Later, the body was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Earlier on September 13 last year, Director Sohanoor Rahman Sohan died at 57, a day after his wife's demise.
