Kamalapur station buzzing with homebound people

Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka is experiencing an increasing number of passengers as city dwellers begin their home journeys ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the greatest religious festivals for Muslims.

People were seen leaving the capital by train since the morning to celebrate the Eid with their near and dear ones. Trains are leaving the station on due time.

The number of passengers reportedly increased further at the railway station as Eid vacation starts tomorrow.

Officials at the railway station said pressure of additional passengers on train is being noticed today. The crowd is expected to increase in next two days. Trains are leaving the Kamalapur railway station for different destinations outside Dhaka on time. Passengers are not facing any schedule collapse today.
