HC asks to return back seat of BUET’s Imtiaz

The High Court asked the authorities concerned to return back residential seat of 21st batch Civil Engineering student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and central BCL leader Imtiaz Hossain Rahim Rabbi.

An HC bench of Justice Md Khasruzzaman and Justice KM Jahid Sarwar Kajol passed the order on Monday (April 8).

Advocate Shah Manjurul Haque stood for Imtiaz Rabbi during the hearing at the court.

Earlier, Barrister Harun-or-Rashid filed a writ with the HC challenging the legality of the decision to cancel the seat of BCL leader Imtiaz.

On March 29, BUET authorities cancelled the seat of Imtiaz Hossain Rahim Rabbi in connection with the entry of central leaders of BCL into the campus.
