KSR participates in OIC’s Eid gift distribution

On the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr, gift items were distributed among the poor in the capital on Sunday (April 7) with support of embassies of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)-member countries, Kuwait Society for Relief (KSR)’s Bangladesh office and Society for Social and Technological Support (Kuwait).

The distribution ceremony was held at Manda Haider Ali School and College ground. 

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury was present as the chief guest.

Palestinian Ambassador to Bangladesh Yousef SY Ramadan and Director General of Kuwait Society for Relief (KSR)’s Bangladesh office Dr Gazi Md Jahirul Islam were present as special guests.

Packets were distributed among 500 families of Ward No. 71 and 72 under Dhaka-9 constituency. Each packet included 5-kg rice, one kg lentil, one liter edible oil, one kg salt and one kg chickpea.
