Eid Jamaat held at capital’s Panthapath

A section of Muslims has celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the greatest religious festivals for Muslims, today in the capital’s Panthapath area in line with Saudi Arabia.

The Eid jamaat was held at 7:30 am at a convention centre in Panthapath area.

Muslims offer Eid prayers in congregation at a convention centre in Panthpath. Children and women also participated in the congregation. After the prayer, they shared the joy of Eid with each other. Foreign Muslims staying in the country also participated in this Eid congregation.

The worshipers who came to say Eid prayers said, “As many countries in the world are celebrating Eid today, we are also celebrating it accordingly.”

Besides, many Muslims of Patuakhali, Chandpur, Dinajpur, Moulvibazar and Barishal have celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr today following Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries.
