Main Eid Jammat held at Jatiya Eidgah

The dwellers from separate areas in the capital attended in the main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah.
The main jamaat (congregation) of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr was held at 8:30am on Thursday (April 11) at Jatiya Eidgah ground adjacent to the High Court.
A total of five Eid jamaats (congregation) held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque here on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Hafez Maulana Mufti Ruhul Amin conducted the Eid prayers.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin offered the prayers of Eid-ul-Fitr along with hundreds of people from all walks of life at the National Eidgah.
Apart from the head of the state, the country’s noted personalities, including chief justice, cabinet members, judges of the Supreme Court, lawmakers, senior political leaders and high civil and military officials also said their prayers there.
