Soybean oil price hiked by Tk10 per litre

The price of bottled soybean oil has been hiked by Tk 10 per litre to Tk 173.

The new price is effective from today (April 16).

Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (BVORVMA), the association of owners of edible oil refining and marketing companies, proposed the new price on Monday (April 15).

The price of loose palm oil has been fixed to Tk132 per litre, while the price of bottled soybean oil has been set at Tk173. For five-litre bottles, the price has been set at Tk845.
