US delegation to visit Dhaka on Sunday

A US delegation is scheduled to visit Dhaka on April 21 on a three-day official.
It will be the first visit of a US delegation to Bangladesh since the 12th parliamentary elections on January 7.
Foreign ministry sources said that the delegation includes- Brendan Lynch, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for South and Central Asia.
During the visit, apart from trade expansion, labor law reforms, protection of information laws will be discussed. Commerce Ministry Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh will lead the Bangladesh delegation.
It is also known that the US representatives are also expected to hold a meeting on the Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum Agreement (TICFA) between the two countries.
