Death toll from Bhashantek gas fire hits 4

The death toll in Bhasantek fire rose to four as another victim died at a hospital in the capital on Friday morning (April 19).

The deceased was known as Lamia, a six-year-old girl. She had suffered 55 per cent burn injuries.

Earlier, on April 12, an explosion resulting from a gas cylinder leak occurred at about 4:15am at a residence in the Shyamalpalli residential area of Bhashantek.
