11 more BGP men take refuge in Bangladesh

11 more members of the Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) entered Bangladesh through the Teknaf border of Cox's Bazar on Friday, seeking refuge amidst the ongoing conflict in the neighboring country.
With this, the number of BGP men taking refuge in Bangladesh stood at 285.
Shariful Islam, public relations officer of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) headquarters, informed this on Friday (April 19).
Arakan Army (AA), the Myanmar rebel armed forces, are engaged in continuing fighting against the junta forces in the Rakhine state.
In the face of intense attack from the rebels, the members of BGP are fleeing to Bangladesh.
