Qatar emir meets with PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has met with visiting Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for talks.

Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani reached Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) around 10:00am on Tuesday (April 23).

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina welcomed the Amir at her office's Tiger Gate with flower bouquet. Later, he joined the meeting with the Prime Minister around 10:15am at the PMO’s Shimul Hall.

It is known that during the visit of the Emir of Qatar, six agreements and five memorandums of understanding will be signed between the two countries.

The Amir is scheduled to fly for Qatar by a special aircraft this evening.
