Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina has raised a question about the human rights violations in the United States.
The United States publishes reports on the human rights situation in Bangladesh, but they do not look at themselves. Referring to the cases of violation of human rights in the USA, she asked the human rights organizations to give answers.
The Prime Minister said this while addressing the AL Central Working Committee (ALCWC) meeting at her official Ganabhaban residence on Tuesday.
The premier heavily criticized the action against agitated students and teachers in the United States as they protested the atrocities in Gaza of Palestine by Israel. She described the action as "gross violation of the humanity".
“What will they say now those who are trying to find out humanity in Bangladesh? I want the answer,” she said.
The premier also denounced killing of two Bangladeshis in USA. “We are protesting the killing of our two Bangalees (by the security personnel in USA),” she added.
