To reduce the learning gap caused by recent closures, classes will be held on Fridays if needed, said Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel.
The education minister said this through leaving a post on the verified Facebook page of the Education Ministry on Sunday (May 5).
“We have now 185 working days. Out of the days, 20 days have been kept for assessment of the new curriculum. If the working days reduced further, classes will be held on Fridays to keep the academic activities running,” Nowfel said.
Meanwhile, schools, colleges, madrasas and technical institutions reopened today in full swing across the country after several closures due to the extreme heatwave.
