Shahbagh road block: 13 detained 

Police have detained 13 persons for blocking roads at Shahbagh in the capital Dhaka. 

Job seekers blocked roads at Shahbagh on Saturday afternoon, demanding steps to extend the maximum age limit for government job applications to 35 years. Currently, the age limit is 30 years.

Police detained the protesters as they blocked roads and obstructed policemen from performing their duty.
It also disrupted the movement of vehicles in the area. Long traffic jams were created.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahbagh Police Station said, “Police charged batons to disperse protesting job seekers. 13 persons have been detained.”
