Teenager injured in Nayapaltan crude bomb explosion  

A 16-year-old teenager named Sani suffered injuries in a crude bomb explosion in the capital’s Nayapaltan area on Saturday afternoon (May 11).

The incident took place at around 2:00pm. Suni collected it from a shopping bag.

Paltan Thana Police sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. 

Sub-Inspector of Paltan Thana Mohammad Ali said he came across a shopping bag. When he peeped in, the bomb exploded and he sustained injuries to his hands and legs. He was first taken to Rajarbagh Police Hospital, later he was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.

Sani is the son of Titu Mia in the capital’s Kakrail area.
