Milton Samadder denied bail

A bail petition filed by ‘Child & Old Age Care’ founder and chairman Milton Samadder has been rejected in a human trafficking case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Afnan Sumi rejected the bail petition on Monday.  

M Rakib, a resident of Dhanmondi area, filed the case with Mirpur Model Thana on May 1.

On the night of May 1, the Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Milton in a drive from the capital Dhaka’s Mirpur area.
