Minister wants actions against vehicles without fitness

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has expressed his disappointment at the running of vehicles without fitness in the city streets.

The minister said this at the meeting of the BRTA (Bangladesh Road Transport Authority) Advisory Council Committee at the BRTA Bhaban in the capital on Wednesday.

“Modern vehicles run in cities of various countries. But, in Dhaka, vehicles without fitness run”, he said.

At the meeting, Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Md Atiqul Islam were also present, among others.
