Donal Lu leaves Dhaka after 3-day visit

US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu has left Dhaka after a three-day visit.

Carrying the top US official left Hazrat Shah Jalal Internation airport around 4:00am on Thursday (May 16).

During the visit, he participated in several meetings at different levels of the government and private sector.

Earlier on Tuesday, Donald Lu arrived in Dhaka on a three-day visit to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

He met foreign minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, minister for climate change Saber Hossain Chowdhury, and others.
